Brian DeLaet
President/CEO of EduCyber
Brian DeLaet has given numerous presentations on Search and Internet marketing. He launched his own website design, computer support company, EduCyber, Inc., in 1998. Prior to EduCyber, Brian spent a number of years in the field of education where he helped incorporate technology in classrooms. Whether building web sites, developing e-marketing strategies or installing and maintaining computer networks, EduCyber’s goal is to maximize their client’s investment in technology.
Maki DeLaet, Vice President and CCO (Chief Creative Officer) of EduCyber, Inc. has used her creative talent and eye for detail to always get the right look and feel. With EduCyber since its start in 1998, she has come into her own as the CCO.
Using sophisticated design tools Maki listens to clients describe what they want and is able to capture, in just the right way, the color schemes, logo design, and presentation of the site.
Mary has joined EduCyber as project manager, copywriter, web researcher, office admin, and trivia expert. She has spent the last 5 years promoting self-published authors on the internet through her own company, Buy The Book Marketing.
Mary’s previous work experience has been managing high tech information archives and sales, newspaper advertising sales, and once lasted 10 days as a waitress in college. She has a Masters in Library Science and a passion for information management and repackaging. She admits to losing entire mornings on Twitter and spends weekends book hunting for her used bookstore on Amazon.com. She lives in Broomfield with her husband and Maggie, their overactive dog.
